Our market is rushing towards its 15th birthday. Since the first Saturday in September 1995 Thames Market has been providing locals and visitors with fresh produce, arts and crafts, collectibles and delicious food every Saturday. That is roughly 780 markets since we started! We will be celebrating the birthday in a colourful way, with music and the traditional great range of goods.
Some highlights: Paul is back now with cut and potted flowers to put some colour in your garden. Greg’s great selection of 2nd hand books, Daryll offers his handmade carved leather belts, European breads at the Sola Cafe stall and at Adriana's Greek speciality stall, and two stalls are offering quite different types of Indian samosas. Not to be missed is locally grown lavender made into aromatic oil, soaps and bath luxuries; and a huge variety of second hand goods and collectibles.
Come and join in with the fun at Grahamstown, the most picturesque part of Thames with some of the town's finest cafes as well as great shops.
