The 'Boys Will Be Boys?' Exhibition Opening Night

Having been influenced by the ‘Boys Will Be Boys?’ stereotype, in this body of work, Timothy asks, “can the ‘war, weapon and superhero’ play that boys love simply be broken like a bad habit, or is it more deeply embedded in their concept of masculinity and understanding of their world?”.
The exploration of this narrative is utilized through Timothy’s use of mixed media including video, ceramic, large format prints and needlework.
