Masks out, costumes on! Drums are beating across the globe from New Orleans to Rio de Janeiro in anticipation of Mardi Gras / Carnaval.
The Bay of Plenty gets into it (with an electronic twist) Friday 19th February.
Temple Bar presents Electric Carnaval, featuring Brazilbeat Sound System (Live) with support from DJ Pato and performance from Group Capoeira Brasil.
Masquerade / fancy-dress party. Prizes for best costumes.
Drinks specials from 9pm till midnight.
