This is something Taupo has never seen before - the NZ Festival of Body Art is coming to the heart of art and bring the "Maori myths and legends" there!

On Friday, Feb 12, a stunning exhibition called "Waling Art" will open its gates at Taupo Museum to give you a dazzling pretaste of what is about to follow. And the best thing is that this is for free for everyone. Taupo will talk about this, so do not miss it.

The NZ Festival of Body Art Academy will offer top workshops taught by international masters in their fields starting on Monday, Feb 15. It does not matter whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or already well experienced, choose your workshop and experience the illusion hands on and expand your knowledge - it is fun. And we are very proud that again most of the workshops are for free, so sign up now.

On Friday, Feb 19, finally, the festival grounds will open its gates, including the Grand Opening Ceremony in the evening, and provide best music, entertainment and body art in all kinds of forms, on stage, off stage, behind the scenes and the making of. We will provide everything you need for a perfect day in this amazing environment - you will love it. Also delicious food and drinks will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own and have one of the best picnics ever on our festival grounds. On our special Family Day on Sunday we will offer even more activities for all age groups.
See it, feel it, enjoy Body Art!
