The Festival of the Elements is one of the largest Waitangi Day events in the country. With shows and activities designed for all ages and tastes, it's definitely a celebration you won't want to miss.
Headline performers this year include the award-winning musician Ruia, Legacy Dance Company, and performance poet Glenn Colquhoun.
Food and craft stalls will be open for business all day. New for 2010, the Festival will incorporate the Big Day Art! event, where local artists can exhibit and sell their work to the public. Best of all, it's free! Join thousands of other visitors for a fun-filled day of culture and excitement.
