Join Carolina Moon for a dusk performance of dreamy songs whose journey began in the heartlands of Spain - as part of Music in Parks 2010.
Get a lasting impression and taster of the beautiful music from Carolina Moon’s forthcoming CD release 'Mother Tongue', an album of haunting Spanish Sephardic songs.
Her group features Nigel Gavin – guitar, electric oud, (glissantar), banjo; Roger Manins – soprano saxophone, flute, clarinet; Kevin Field – piano; Andrew Atwill – acoustic and electric bass; and Ron Samsom – hand drums, drumset.
Music in Parks has become an institution on Auckland's summer calendar. Made up of four distinctive concert series, there are few better ways to get amongst summer in our city than take in some live music or outdoor cinema in Auckland's stunning parks and reserves. The 2010 programme runs from January to March and features 40 concerts showcasing the best musical talent that Auckland has to offer.
