Following a blistering summer of festivals appearances, Minuit are staying on the road for a tour of intimate club shows. Ten foot tall and bulletproof, catch them marching through your town this March (and Feb).

Minuit march through Napier Saturday 27 February.

“First and foremost Minuit is a live act”, says Paul Dodge, one third of the jet-setting electro act. “Thats where the songs come alive, thats where they embed in people's hearts and often the whole room sings along. You gotta see that. You gotta hear that.”

Trusted with some primo slots at festivals this summer: before Peaches in the BigDayOut's Boiler Room; after Lupe Fiasco and before Basement Jaxx at Splore; headlining the electronic stage at HomeGrown; following Fat Freddy's Drop to close the day at Rippon where 5000 people belted out in unison the lines from 'Aotearoa' - “you and me we are a New Zealand”

With songs like Wayho, Aotearoa, 25 Bucks, as well as a back catalogue that includes Fuji, Menace, Boy with the Aubergine Hair, Djordj, Except You, I Hate Guns, they can make you laugh, cry, shudder from bass overload. Minuit is an institution with an underground reputation that can enthral.

Grey's Anatomy chose a Minuit track for their new season. Their track 'Wayho' recently gate-crashed the stoic American indie scene. This is well travelled homegrown gall. With live shows in Vietnam, Los Angeles, Russia, London superclub Fabric. I'm not sure why I make these lists, better to check it out, check it out and decide for yourself.

“[Despite] an album title as dark as midnight, Minuit's music is often as joyful as a fat kid with cake” - Rolling Stone magazine

“You don't have to be a fan of electronic music to enjoy this album” - Scene Magazine, Australia

“The shimmering 'I'm Still Dancing' (recently on Grey's Anatomy) beats New Yorkers' Telepathe at their own game" - Rave Magazine, Australia
