West Canadian singer-songwriter Jesse Rivest is back to deliver another vivid slice of contemporary country/folk/blues tunes in the key of "must C". A Writing.com contributor reported one of Rivest's 2009 performances in Wellington as ripe with beautiful songs, amusing tales, a unique and soulful voice, and an evidently pleased audience.
No stranger to stages and audiences, Rivest has performed nearly 100 shows in a span of less than 5 years. As a highly engaging vocalist and an expert guitar-slinger (including finger-style and slide work), this tour will have him performing solo acoustic sets of uniquely impressive original songs.
