Wellington’s preeminent outdoor sculpture exhibition shapeshifter is a key visual arts feature of the New Zealand International Arts Festival. Featuring more than 80 works by leading and emerging New Zealand artists, shapeshifter is an exciting fusion of contemporary outdoor and indoor sculpture, set amongst the striking venues of the beautiful Civic Gardens and TheNewDowse. Picnickers are welcome with music events, guided tours and evening openings planned. All works are for sale, with proceeds going to local charities. shapeshifter runs from 26 February to 21 March 2010. It's open daily from 10am to 5pm and on Thursdays until 8pm.
