Every year around 20,000 peasants, urchins and rascals flock to the Levin Showgrounds for the Medieval Market.
There will be fair maidens, wicked wenches and Robin Hoods a plenty. Come along, participate in warrior skirmishes, paper sword fights, pillow jousting and rat bashing. Savour the tastes of the food sellers, shop the medieval market merchants while watching the authentic knights in battle. So, come along to enjoy a beautiful summer's day relaxing and having great family fun.
And for those who might be wondering ... the rats aren’t real – they’re made out of material.
