On Saturday you can soak in the diverse jazz and blues sounds at the resort town’s cafes – or pack an evening picnic and join the audience for an evening concert featuring artists such as Hot Club Sandwich, Paul Ubana Jones and Fiona Pears.
On Sunday morning, relax in the Village Green to the sounds of the Christchurch City Chorus, followed by brunch at your favourite café, where you’ll again be entertained by Jazz and Blues artists.
Acclaimed artists performing over the weekend include Adrian Ford on piano, Delta Swing playing the old style Dixieland Jazz, and Liz Nicole singing her Blues renditions.
There will be no charge for all day-time performances at cafes and bars.
Entry to the evening concert is $20, with entertainment by a range of quality performers and groups starting from 5pm. Food and beverages will be on sale on site. Tickets will be on sale shortly, or buy at the gate.
