The Augmented Trio at The Gables Tavern is proudly hosted by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club.
Alex Churchill – saxophones; Adam Fuhr – piano/keyboard; Nicholas Taylor – acoustic/electric bass; Stephen Thomas – drums; and special guest Renee Cosio – piano/vocals.
This is the Augmented Trio’s second appearance at the Jazz and Blues Club.
Winners of the 2009 National Youth Jazz Competition, the band will be presenting their own arrangements of well-known jazz standards, as well as tunes written by modern composers such as Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and more.
The band will be joined by recent New Zealand School of Music graduate Renee Cosio on piano and vocals.
