Join us to celebrate nationhood, community and family at one of the largest National Day gatherings in New Zealand.
The day starts with a Pageant on the river at 10am featuring waka and cutters. There's a national invitational touch tournament, live stage entertainment, outdoor screen, free waka rides for the public and a food and craft village. The event attracts thousands of people and the organisers provide a safe and friendly environment for families with security at gates and in the grounds and free off-road parking.
