Freemason John Rees discusses aspects of ‘the craft’ in the exhibition Square and Compasses: Freemasonry in New Zealand at the Otago Settlers Museum.

Freemasonry in New Zealand has a rich history with long standing traditions. But what is Freemasonry? Who are Freemasons? And what do Freemasons do?

Square and Compasses shares the history and traditions of Freemasonry and helps answer these and many more questions about Freemasons and the good work they do in our community.

'Square and Compasses' is on display at the Otago Settlers Museum from 7 November 2009 – 28 February 2010.
