Balibo is a political thriller starring Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace), based on the book "Cover Up". It tells the true story of five young journalists (including New Zealander Gary Cunningham) killed in East Timor as the Indonesian Army invaded in 1975.

Winner of the Australian Film Institute (AFI) awards for best lead actor, best supporting actor, best screenplay adaptation and best editing.
