If it's summer, then that can only mean another Kia Motors Devonport Food, Wine & Music Festival, and 2010 sees the festival again held at Windsor Reserve on the shoreline of the Waitamata Harbour on the 20th and 21st February.
The organisers have another great selection of music and entertainment lined up over the two stages including Nathan King, Gareth Thomas (ex Goodshirt), Ewen Gilmore, Sam Hunt, An Emerald City as well as The Blues Brothers Band and New Zealand's own Abbey Road performing their tribute to the Beatles to name a few.
Quality wine will once again be available with regulars such as Rockburn, Westbrook and Putiki Bay returning, while new comers will include Loop Line Vineyards and Harwood Wines. In total over 17 wineries.
Food from India, Vietnam and Germany will be available as well as some great tasting NZ whitebait, mussels and prawns. In the North Shore City Council marquee a number of top chefs will be presenting while the Glengary wine academy and barista lessons will be popular as ever.
A new feature at this years festival is the introduction of Monteiths beer and the festival chill zone. So don't miss out pre purchase your ticket through Ticketek and go in the draw to win one of three great prizes:
- LG 32 Inch TV
- Weekend stay at Carrington Resort at Karikari
- Trip for two to Sonasali Resort in Fiji including 3 nights accomodation & flights up to the value of $1,500
Also every ticket pre purchased receives a glass of wine or a Monteiths beer!
