Burst! Christchurch's 21st Festival of Flowers will take place at Christchurch Cathedral and other city centre locations from 19 February - 14 March.
“Burst” The Festival of Flowers is an exciting, fun-filled celebration of gardens, plants and everything floral. Including; displays, music, food, storytelling, garden tours, photography, calligraphy, Ikebana, flax weaving, the New Zealand tree-climbing competition, and more!
There are loads of free activities, and opportunities to watch, learn and even get your hands dirty.
Most Festival activities are within easy walking distance of Christchurch’s central city, and Christchurch Cathedral.
The premier event, the Floral Carpet & Decorations, takes place in the Cathedral 19 - 28 February.
