Farideh (pronounced "fair-ah-day") is a singer-songwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Perhaps best described as a fusion of folk and R&B, her music is a tantalizing blend of tradition and invention, with lyrics that excite the raw emotion in all of us.

For Farideh, music is part of the healing process. With her sultry vocals and passionate melodies, she can grasp the strands of a broken heart and strum them until the ache is gone.

Her songs traverse a variety of musical landscapes, from the barren plains of a prairie winter to a comfy chair in the glow of a soft flame.
