Blues Brews and BBQ's

Nothing says 'Kiwi summer' like a laid back mix of sunshine, tasty barbecue food, a nice cool brew and some great live music!

One of Marlborough's most popular summer events, the Blues, Brews and BBQs will be held at the A and P Showgrounds in Blenheim on Saturday 6th February 2010.

Breweries both large and small will be showcasing their premium beers. For those looking for an alternative try a glass of Bulmar cider or cruise past the Prenzels site who offer a great alternative with their distilled options. A variety of food stalls will have a variety of culinary delights on offer including scallops, venison sushi and whitebait.

This years music line-up includes the much anticipated return of the Darcy Perry Band - icon of the Auckland blues scene, The Rollicks make a return after a break of 3 years, The Giddy Robins Trio from Christchurch featuring local lad Robbie Giddons, plus we have two legendary blues guys from Australia, Lloyd Spiegel and Nick Charles, making a stop off during their NZ tour.
Come and join the fun, sample the ales, try some of the wonderful cuisine on offer and kick back to the sounds of some great blues music.
