Great Steam Train Excursions - Auckland to Tauranga

Excursion 1: Coach to Auckland & Train to Tauranga
Leave from near i-SITE 95 Willow St Tauranga at 8:00am, travel by luxury coach to Auckland and join the steam train at 12:15pm. Arrive back at Tauranga Strand at 6:30pm

Excursion 2: Steam Train to Tauranga
Depart from the Old Auckland Railway Station,The Strand by train at 12:15pm. Check in 30 minutes before departure. Travel South through Auckland suburbs with optional passenger pickup 1pm at Papakura station. Light refreshments tea, coffee, soft drinks and snack food for purchase on the train or bring your own. Travel via the Waikato farming region and beside the Waikato River to Hamilton. Then through the Kaimai tunnel arriving at the Tauranga Strand at 6:30pm.

Excursion 3: Train down to Tauranga & Coach return to Auckland
Travel down from Auckland on the steam train then depart from near i-SITE, 95 Willow St Tauranga at 7:45pm. Check in 15 minutes before departure. Return by luxury coach travelling via the mural town of Katikati, the Waihi gold mining town with optional passenger drop off at Papakura station10:15pm. Arrive at the Auckland Strand station at 11:00pm.
