Behind the name 4 Strings hides two musicians, Carlo & Jan. Originating from the Netherlands, the two have known each other since 1986. In 1990 they became interested in dance music and from that moment on they started producing their own music. ‘Daytime’ was the first track of 4 Strings supported by Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules & Tiesto. The follow up was ‘Into The Night’ which received even greater support. After a vocal edit of ‘Take Me Away’ it became a huge hit around the globe, even now the track can be heard worldwide. In 2002 4 Strings won an award for the best progressive house/trance track of 2002 for ‘Take Me Away’. 4 Strings are part of the new generation of DJs today. Crowds are amazed by their refreshing and unique style of playing music. 4 Strings are always prepared with unpredictable and quality tracks that both excite existing fans and bring new people to the scene.

Dr Willis (AU)
Originally from Western Australia but now residing in Melbourne, Dr Willis has firmly become one of the most prolific DJs and producers to come out of Australia in recent times. Not one to be content with just sitting back and enjoying the ride, he is a true example of the new age performer. David spends all of his spare time preparing his new releases in the studio and also editing/updating tracks to make them exclusive to his sets – countless hours pass by researching for new material to stay ahead of the pack. Dance Valley, Nature One, Trance Energy, Sensation, he’s done them all. His fan base includes many top shelf DJs that consistently chart and play his tunes capturing the best of them (lets not drop names, we all know who they are) – they always eagerly await his next release. His two newly established recording imprints ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Freefall’ are already making lots of noise both at home and abroad especially now that ‘Freefall’ has became not only a respected record label but also an international clubbing concept.

Supporting 4 Strings & Dr Willis will be a line up of some of Auckland’s finest DJ’s to perfect what will be an enchanting and euphonic occasion not to be missed: Joe Johnson, Mcenergy, Mike V & Kurt Erickson and others.
