Experimenta presentation

Experimenta will open the Vitamin S [SIC] festival with a presentation/performance.

Dynamic multi disciplinary performance from leading Argentinian experimental artists Experimenta (from the pioneering event of Sound Art and Experimental Music in Argentina), will visit NZ on its first international tour with shows on 4th, 6th & 7th of February.

Featuring the sound artists, composers and improvisers Adriana de los Santos, Claudio Calmens, Grod Morel Zypce, & with the audiovisual support of Claudio Koremblit, founder and director of Experimenta.

They will be showing for the first time in Oceanía the state of experimental activity in the southern part of South America, stimulating the exchange with Australian and New zealand artists.

The historical activity of Experimenta will be reflected in within the tour programme, consisting of two different kinds of presentations: experimental composition and free improvisation.

Each of the artists will show their activity as soloists and also take part in an ensemble where they will interact with local improvisers. New Latin American music, live electronic music, microtonal music, improvisation, experimental dance and video will be in the programme that Experimenta is showing in its first foreign incursion, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Argentina.
