The Earlybirds

The Earlybirds are quickly gaining a reputation for delivering fast and rollicking melodies which are irresistible to dance to.

The Earlybirds are a 5 piece band, lead by front man Filip Kostovich, Jared Aisher on Bass, Sean Patterson on Drums, and Kane Ter Veer and Mike Cannon on guitar.

This youthful quintet, are no stranger to the local touring circuit, having already supported such bands as Opshop, Midnight Youth, Pluto, the Checks, and most recently the feelers on their NZ Summer Tours. These boys have definitely planted the seed to becoming the next great rock band out of NZ.

2009 was a dynamic year, great momentum was achieved with the release of their debut single "Runaway". This track was quickly added to all of the major networks including The Rock, The Edge and ZMFM . Their video also achieved great visibility with high rotation on C4, MTV and Juice TV.

"I Killed The DJ" has followed strongly again picking up airplay on all of the same stations, and the killer video has achieved much critical acclaim and was added to The Rock “Channel Z” playlist this week.
