The Dunstan Rangers are a guitar-driven alt country Wellington band with two CDs under their belts and preparations for a third. The five Rangers hail from other bands such as the Mockers, Sneaky Feelings, Jessie James and the Outlaws, and Night Train (Oregon).
CD releases to date include Unhugged and Second Life.
Once described as “the thinking man’s Warratahs” their songs mine the human condition with quirky twists and ironic turns. Expect weaving harmonies and bursts of saxophone over telecaster guitar.
