    In December 1910, the celebrated luxury cruise liner SS Oneroa set sail from California to New Zealand, carrying the crème de la crème of early twentieth century society on what the California Times called “The Voyage of the Decade”.
    On the fateful evening of the 31st, while the passengers were well into their champagne soaked NYE celebrations, the SS Oneroa hit the hidden sandbar of an uncharted Pacific island.
    100 years later and no trace of the SS Oneroa , her passengers, or in the island, have ever been found.
