NYE2010

Two great cover bands, traditional countdown and fireworks at midnight. NYE2010 is an alcohol free family environment taking place in the Riverside Park Unison Amphitheatre, Redoubt St, that's right opposite Woolworths Supermarket on the northern entrance to town. First band kicks off at 8pm so come and join us and get in the spirit to welcome in 2011. NYE is an alcohol free concert.

Revival Corporation - A dynamic five piece band with a 100 plus repertoire ranging from 60’s music to today with a special focus on the 80’s. Head lining at Taupo’s New Years Eve gig with a play list of popular songs that have a special edge to them and have been revived through popular demand. You’re not going to hear what other bands constantly play but you will know the songs and be able to sing along with the band. Revival Corporation is a technologically advanced band enabling them to produce multi-textured and layered sounds representative of the 80's era to a very high standard. Formed in 2004, the band has established a reputation as one of the best covers band around. With credits to their name like Motown artists (Mission Concert 2010), Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Opshop, and Jordan Luck. The band was also booked to support the 2009 Lionel Richie Tour.

Avidiva - Like the fizz in your favorite champagne, Avidiva add sparkle and magic. An experienced and fun all-girl singing trio that has been called “outstanding, with energetic choreography, perfect harmonies and the grooviest costumes, Avidiva perform the most popular songs from the 1960s to today.
