Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Taupo Half Ironman

Take the challenge yourself or in a team of the 2010 Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Taupo Half Ironman.
The 2km swim, 90km ride and 21km run can be completed as a solo or in a team of two or three on December 11.

If you're training for Ironman 2011, then this is the lead-up event to do - the swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo is exactly half of the Ironman swim course and the cycling and running leg also mirror the Ironman route.

Taupo Half Ironman is also officially sanctioned by Triathlon NZ as being a qualifying race for the world long course triathlon championships

A larger pot of prize money is available for the top athletes in this year’s Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Taupo Half Ironman, and once again, there is prize money tagged to the fastest swim, bike and run legs for both males and females entered as individuals or members of teams.

Entry fees for the 2010 event have not increased – individuals can enter online for $210 and a team of two or three costs only $255. All individual finishers receive a commemorative medal.
