While there are many different forms and styles of art in this exhibition, use of the written word is the common link between the artists in Txt. With 50 art works included, words have been extracted from sources such as books, poetry, lyrics, advertising and signposts. Bringing together a selection of quirky and serious words, this exhibition asks us to think about what language means to us as New Zealanders and shows that conceptual art can help us understand how we fit into the world.
