Jan de Wet and Jurie Els

The well-known South African singers Jan de Wet performs with Jurie Els to sing their most popular songs. Jan is an Afrikaans Christian artist legend! Almost every Afrikaans kid that is now in their twenties (or thirties?) listened to Jan de Wet en die loflaaities. The programme comprises gospel hits, Christmas songs and a variety of the most well known gospel songs for children that a generation of youth grew up on.

Jurie Els has been touring all over SA solidly for 7 years since that breakthrough Platinum selling album. The multi-talented Jurie has also worked as executive producer on several hit projects. Juries’s combined career sales figures as an artist and producer are close to a phenomenal 900,000 units!

Jan recorded his first album in 1967 and had the privilege to record close to 60 albums through the years. He started a full time musical ministry in 1983 and have toured South Africa extensively and also ministered through music in other countries like Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel, England and Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Germany.
