Hawkes Bay Premiere of The Snowman, performed by the Hawke’s Bay Orchestra. A well-known story by Raymond Briggs, this delightful tale takes you on a magical adventure with a small boy, and a snowman who comes to life one snowy Christmas Eve. This short animated film is brilliantly set to the beautiful orchestral score by Howard Blake.

To follow will be more Divine Christmas Music. Featuring a stunning choir; excerpts from
Amahl and the Night Visitors; poetry by Longfellow; a local gospel diva; opera singers and other musical surprises!

Finish the evening with a carols sing-along lead by the orchestra! A treat for young and old alike, this is a not-to-be-missed event!
