The New Zealand Christmas Carnival is a long-standing tradition and highlight on Auckland’s racing calendar.
The carnival kicks off on 26 December with the Boxing Day Races – Ellerslie’s biggest day of the year! In 2011 Boxing Day plays host to a new-look infield event, Beach, Beats & BBQs, as well as a myriad of hospitality options and the popular VIVA Fashions in the Field competition.
The carnival carries on with another race day on 28 December, followed by some spectacular top-level track action and continued infield activities on New Year’s Day.
