Botany Junction Hot Rod Show and Xmas Street Party

This Christmas the Botany Junction businesses are getting together to throw an awesome party for the local community, and also support local teens.

This is going to be a Christmas party like no other Christmas party you have ever been to. It kicks off at 9am with a line up of some of the coolest Hot Rods in New Zealand. For the third running year the South Side Streeters have chosen Botany Junction to display some of their members’ remarkable cars to the public. The cars are all pre 1972 American hot rods, classic cars and muscle cars.

At 10.30am, there is a thunderous roar as the hot rods start their engines. By 11am the hot rods will have moved off to make way for Santa who has agreed to take a break from his busy pre-Christmas schedule to visit the kids at Botany Junction.

From 11am to 2pm there will be loads of entertainment, fun and games to keep the whole family entertained including Domino’s pizza eating competition, local schools dance battle, and face painting. You can also meet Warriors stars Manu Vatuvai and Jerome Ropati!

All proceeds from this event go to Young Life New Zealand to help them place youth workers in local schools.
