The festive story of “The Christmas Fairy” is a delightful and entertaining ballet set in the magical land of the fairies. Emily, who seeks to believe in the wonder of fairies, goes on an adventure of discovery. Led by the Christmas Fairy she finds a land full of colour and fun characters such as the Tinkle, Night-sky, Naughty and even the Tooth Fairy.
This ballet was originally commissioned for Southern Ballet Theatre by Jasmine Orchard 2002 and this year the writer will choreograph and produce her story for the Blenheim public in the Marlborough Civic Theatre.
All profits made from this show will go to The Ronald McDonald House.
