Hear Shaun Quincey talk about his amazing solo row across the Tasman Sea, as he became the second person ever to successfully complete the journey solo after his father Colin did it in 1977. This free event is part of our celebrations as we welcome Shaun's boat, Tasman Trespasser II into the museum collection, where it will join his father's Tasman Sea conquering boat, Tasman Trespasser. This fantastic acquisition has been made possible by the generous support of the First Sovereign Trust.

Shaun will be presenting his amazing story and sharing with us incredible images from his epic journey. After his talk he'll be happy to answer your questions. Signed copies of Shaun's new book, 'Tasman Trespasser II, The Shaun Quincey Story' will be available to purchase on the night.
