Uncut Comedy Christmas Special

So what if Rhys Darby is playing across the road at the same time? (Incidentally, if you didn't know that, ignore the opening sentence). We've got a cracker of a show featuring genuinely sh*t Christmas decorations. And over-the-top air conditioning. And possibly mulled wine! (If it clears quarantine in time). It's gonna be decent fun with several great acts, many nominated for 2010 NZ Comedy Guild awards, including our MC Reuben Lee for 'Most Offensive Gag of 2010', 2 of the 3 Best Newcomer nominees (Alan McElroy & Andy Whiteoak) and Most Improved Comedian (Sean Downie). It's going to be ace, and cheap!

It's only $10 per ticket and this includes a free beer/wine/soft drink, and there's plenty of drink specials too, so there's no reason not to laugh. Unless you're a recovering alcoholic.

You can reserve tickets at the Academy Cinema box office right now - it's underneath the Auckland Central library building, which is approximately 42 seconds walk from the intersection of Queen and Wellesley Streets.
