Festive Pre-Comedy Festival Ideas Fest

In an experimental 70 minute show, a bunch of 2011 NZ International Comedy Festival applicants, Most of them 2010 NZ Comedy Guild Award nominees, will try things for their shows. This is your chance to get a sneak peak at stuff you'll be pressured into buying tickets for lots more cash via aggressive flyering and over-the-top guilt-tripping come Festival time in April. Not really... they're all actually ace.

Featuring Stella Graham (2009 Best Newcomer nominee), Sean Downie (Most Improved Comedian) and Englishman, Irishman, Scotsman triple-act Reuben Lee (Most Offensive Gag), Alan McElroy (Best Newcomer) and Scotty Tulloch (He's too new for any nominations!). MC'd by the perpetually lost Andy Whiteoak (also Best Newcomer). So be there.

Tickets are $10 and this includes a free beer or wine or soft drink. You can't say fairer than that. Unless you're comparing your skin tone to an Irishman, plus there's plenty of drinks specials.
