City Farmers' Christmas Market

The City Farmers' Market at Britomart is delighted to announce a very special market day. Combining their usual birthday market (the market just recently turned 4) with a Christmas market to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.

Visitors to the market can enjoy the celebration of the market's birthday party, as well as soak up the festive spirit as they collect all their key ingredients for the Christmas table, as this is the last market day before Christmas.

As part of the celebrations, live music will be provided by celebrated local band Tahini Jam. For the little ones, a face painter and amazing balloon artist will add to the entertainment. And of course, there will be plenty of the freshest, seasonal, local food and drink for everyone.

Seasonal delights will be plentiful, with everything you could need for a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.

Treats include fresh berries ripe for summer puddings. Organic, free-range meat is also available for the Christmas dinner - as well as a bounty of vegetables, other fruit and flowers. Along with food for families to share on the day, there are also numerous special gift ideas perfect for the Christmas stocking.
