Wellington Boating, Fishing & Outdoor Sports Expo 2010

Come and join thousands of boaties, fishoholics and those with the love of the Kiwi outdoors at the Inaugural Wellington Boating, Fishing & Outdoor Sports Expo 2010 and be delighted, dazzled, and awestruck with the latest and greatest in boating, fishing & equipment to enjoy the great NZ outdoors.

The Boat Show will have something for everyone including:
• Surf & turf food expo - for the Real Foodies in the family.
- Live fish-filleting demonstrations
- Seafood cooking demonstrations
- Free tastings
- All the bells & whistles for your food & kaimoana

• Seascape Art Competition - for the young artists in the family at school in the Wellington District.
- $500 Cash first prize for each age group best painting, drawing, collage.
- Three age categories are primary, intermediate, Secondary. Open to all school age groups (school must register before the event).
- Bring it along on Sat for judging and you never know what your school can do with the money.

• Major Prize Draw
- This is for all paying gate attendees, just fill in the questionnaire and place into bin at the boat.
-Prize includes; Quicksilver RIB Boat, Voyager Trailer, Mercury Outboard, Fuel Tank, Flare Kit and Hutchwilco life jackets for four (2 adults & 2 children)
- A Coastguard day skippers course for two people, for a summer of safe boating.

• Major Junior Prize Draw - for all 6-14 year olds.
- Just fill in the questionnaire and place into bin at the boat.
-Prize includes; Viking Kayak & paddle, Life Jacket, Mountain bike, skate board, digital camera, Game fishing rod/reelcombo.
