Toi Poneke Art Centre is turning 5 years old! To celebrate, we are holding an Open Studios Day, where artists open their doors and meet the public. It’s free to visit, and it’s a great chance to peek over the shoulders of Toi Poneke artists.

See the mysteries inside the art studios, and meet many of the exciting emerging artists working in this space. At the same time, you can check out “Head On”, the latest exhibition in the Toi Poneke Gallery, and the Hub: an interactive space to share and access information about arts activities in Wellington!

“Head On” showcases current work from Toi Poneke artists, including jewellery, costume, photography, painting and installation, and work is available for purchase. Our Open Studio Day is on the last day of the exhibition, so make sure you catch this rare opportunity for an inside look at Wellington's arts incubator.
