The Mizuno Half Marathon is considered one of New Zealand’s most scenic with fantastic views of the mountains and Lake Taupo – the popularity of the event is also due to its non-competitive nature and its suitability for first-time walkers and runners.
The scenic out-and-back 21.1 kilometre course on the shores of Lake Taupo caters for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
There will be a fantastic range of spot prizes up for grabs.
The MIzuno Half Marathon is a non-commercial event with all proceeds going to support local charities.
Entry costs $50 for seniors (aged 20 and over); and $35 for juniors (aged 19 and under) - there is an additional $5 charge for non online entries.
Admission for spectators is, of course, free.
