Application Store is a series of paintings and photographs that comment on new experiences with technology, specifically the IPhone. The work talks about the power of symbols, shapes and icons and the influence they have on us as consumers. This exhibition shows a wonderful display of carefully crafted paintings in a range of mediums (acrylic, synthetic encaustic, resin) The use of these asthetically captivating mediums support the thematic ideas of icons and their techniques of persuasion on the onlooker.
