Come to the Rock Factory mid-winter Christmas! There will be live bands of course and it's a dress up party! Lineup includes: Lydia Cole, The Glory Sea, Interconnector, Freaky Meat, 29 Blackbirds, Happy Hearse and Invader Cain.

Come dressed up in Christmas themed attire should you feel so inclined... there will be spot prizes for the best dressed! (Come on... We want to see as many Santas, Santa's helpers and
reindeer as possible!... You know you want to!)

Bands, songwriters and artists can enter the inaurgural Great Christmas Song Competition! The prize for the winning band or artist is a studio recording of your Christmas song to be done in time for Christmas... You'll have a very special and awesome present to give to you fans come Christmas time! We will provide full backline so that band members and artists can just jump up and play their Christmas song entry.

Here's what you need to do... Choose from either:

a) Performing a cover of a Christmas song "in the style of your own band"
Or
b) Writing and performing a Christmas song of your own!

To enter: Register your interest to therockfactory@gmail.com with your name or band name, your contact details and the names of band members (if any) that would be performing the piece with you.

Entries are limited in numbers and you will play your song between the night's scheduled band acts. Register now if you are interested in competing. Scheduled acts are automatically entered into the competition...

Judging will take crowd response into consideration, so have some fun with this one, do something enjoyable for yourselves and your mates.

Announcements will be made a week after the competition, after we have reviewed footage, we will put the footage up on website. There may be more than one prize winner!
