An after dark race adventure

Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness is for all ages (7 years upward) and abilities. There are 3 course lengths. Course 1 is designed for walkers and youth. Course 2 is designed for runners. Course 3 is the Vasque Extreme course for experience adventure runners.

Please note for the Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness events, you need to compete as a pair. That means you need to start, race and finish together. Finish times are not recorded until both racers have crossed the finish line.

• Vasque Extreme Nighttime Madness - 15.4km with a 480m climb
Limited to 25 pair (50 runners)
• Silva Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness Classic - Runners: 10km long 295m climb and Runners: 9.64 km long 295m climb
An ideal event for all levels of fitness
• Silva Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness Classic - Walkers: 8km long 295m climb and Runners: 9.64 km long 295m climb. An ideal event for all levels of fitness
• Swazi Youth Challenge and the Young and the Restless Challenge - 8km long 295m climb

Special prize categories:
• More FM Most Outrageously Dressed Team Award - Let your hair down and dress up for the event, let your imagination go wild and your team could be in for a chance to win the Most Outrageously Dressed Team Award.
• Sugar Café Family Group Challenge - There will be a prize for the family with the largest number of people taking part.
• Sugar Cafe Sports team Challenge - There will be a prize for the sports team with the largest number of people taking part
• Wellington Convention Centre Business House Challenge - There will be a prize for the business house with the largest number of people taking part.
