New Zealand Russian Friendship (Waikato) celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Beautiful lively performances of Russian folk dances, opera arias, piano, violin, cello compositions from the Golden Age of Russia, music by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, and great masters of the twentieth century Shostakovich and Prokofiev.

Russian musicians who have made New Zealand their home performing in collaboration with New Zealand colleagues.

The exhibition of paintings are by renowned Russian painters from Academies of Fine Arts who have exhibited and now resident in NZ. Some 100 paintings are expected to be exhibited plus paintings from public collections. This would make this the largest collection of Russian works in the Waikato.

Held in the Gallagher Concert Chamber.
