What does it take to ensure your child is prepared socially and mentally for starting school? This seminar will give you some of the competencies your child will need; how to help develop them and how to best prepare them emotionally for this five year old milestone. This workshop is based on the previous workshop 'Preparing your four year old for school.'

Nicky Cleary - Nicky has spent her adult life working with children and their families. She has more than 5 years experience teaching pre-school aged children and currently teaches years 0 - 1. Nicky's experience in day care, after school care, teaching and pastoral work, along with parenting her own four children, have made her especially capable as a speaker on many parenting and educational issues.
