Book lovers will delight in the over 80,000 books, games, CDs, DVDs and puzzles at the annual Variety Monster Book Fair at Alexandra Park Raceway.
The Variety Monster Book Fair is unique in that it is the only event of its kind that categorises its books into over 200 different subject categories, thus enabling purchasers easy access to their specific areas of interest.
Funds from the fair are allocated to Variety’s literacy and communication programmes, providing grants for books, computers and literacy aides to benefit children nationwide.
Variety's mission is to help sick, disabled and disadvantaged Kiwi kids to reach their full potential.
Opening hours:
Thursday 29th July - 6pm to 10pm ($10 entry fee)
Friday 30th July - 8am to 10pm
Saturday 31st July - 8am to 5pm
Sunday 1st August - 9am to 3pm
