Nestlé Toque d’Or

The knives are out as culinary students around the country prepare for the 20th Nestlé Toque d’Or – the country’s premier student culinary and restaurant service competition.

Students from 12 tertiary institutes will be scrutinised by the country’s finest chefs and culinary professionals, as they prepare six covers of a three-course meal within two-and-a-half hours.

It’s tense, it’s action packed and the heat will really be on in the kitchen as SKYCITY Director of Kitchens, Mark Wylie, heads up the 18 strong judging panel of the country’s leading chefs and culinary professionals.

Internationally acclaimed hotel general manager and member of the competition’s first ever winning team, Bernhard Langer, will also put in an appearance as a guest judge and speaker.
