The New Zealand Association for the Study of Intellectual Disability (NZASID) is pleased to bring its Annual Conference and AGM to the southern city of Dunedin. NZASID is a non-for-profit organisation whose aim is to provide knowledge and learning for people with intellectual disabilities as well as support workers and families.
This is the first time that the conference has been held in the South Island after a number of years in the North Island and the conference is aimed towards people with intellectual disabilities, their families as well as support workers and professionals warring within the intellectual disability sector in New Zealand.
With Keynote Speakers from Australia as well as Dunedin's own Donald Beasley Institute, this conference programme provides a wealth of knowledge and experience from people within the intellectual disability sector. And with delegates heading to Dunedin from across New Zealand and Australia, this conference will hopefully showcase Dunedin as great place to visit and work.
For more information, details on how to register and the conference program, visit www.assid.org.nz, email gary@accessability.org.nz or send a text to 021427997
