Ted Brown + Special Guest Kurt Shanks

Ted Brown, now based in Los Angeles, CA, returns to Auckland for a one-off solo show.

Ted released his solo debut album "Shaky's Blessing" in 2007 which was recorded in LA. In addition to this he has been a regular member of Greg Johnson's live band and has co-written and contributed to several of Greg's albums.

Also known for his band The Tunnelers, releasing several solo singles including the sublime 'Swerve' and contributing vocals to Greg Fleming recent release "Taken" (as well as forming the duo Right Goes Wrong with Fleming in the early '00s).

Ted is currently working on his second album and will be previewing new material from it at this show.

With Ted making less frequent visits back to NZ this is a show to see.

Opening up for Ted will be Kurt Shanks (ex Stellar*), previewing material from his forthcoming solo album currently in production at Roundhead studios. Kurt is accompanied by the venerable Andrew Thorne on guitars and vocals.
