Safari Nights at Auckland Zoo

Safari Nights at Auckland Zoo is your chance to see your favourite animals in a whole new light. Whether you sleep over or just stay for the barbecue and guided night walk, we promise you a night to remember...

Your Safari Night guides will lead you on a torch-lit evening walk to see what the animals get up to after dark. In the Zoo at night, it's just YOU... and the animals... and your guide who'll give you a fascinating glimpse of what's going on.

You may also choose to sleep over at the Old Elephant House in the heart of the Zoo – a unique experience. Nicely tired after your night walk, you can lie back and enjoy the animal sounds as you nod off to sleep. In the morning, we'll serve you breakfast before you head home to tell your family and friends about your amazing night at the Zoo.

Times: 4.30pm to 8.00am the next day (finishes at 10pm for those not sleeping over)

Please note: Safari Nights are suitable for adults and kids 5 years and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Just $60 per person to sleepover or $47 per person for the BBQ/Walk only option.
